2-3LargeRipe Plantains or BananasBananas are high in potassium and contain good levels of protein and dietary fiber. Bananas are rich in a mineral called potassium. … Potassium also helps muscles to contract and nerve cells to respond. It keeps the heart beating regularly and can reduce the effect of sodium on blood pressure.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. You will need two bowls and a loaf pan.
In one bowl, add bananas or plantains and smash with a fork or smashing utensil. Next, add sugars, honey, vanilla, oil, cream cheese, and egg and mix with a hand mixer until smooth.
In the other bowl, add your flour, baking soda, and salt and stir and gradually add to the banana/plantain ingredient bowl and mix.
When all is blended, add your chocolate chips and mix.
Pour your batter into a greased loaf pan and bake 50-55 minutes or until you test with a toothpick in the center and it comes out clean….I often use a steak knife if i run out of toothpicks and it works just as well.
Lastly, serve with a glass of milk or my favorite, a cappuccino….Enjoy!!!
Recipe Notes
You can use plantains or bananas in this recipe. I had ripe plantains so chose to use them instead of bananas. Either one makes this dessert fantastic.
