Philly Style Tomato Basil Soup

Fall into this Philly Style Tomato Basil Soup that is  Beautifully Blended, Heart Healthy, and Delicious. Pair with a Perfect Piece of Multi-grain Bread, add Ditalini Pasta, or a Salad to make it a complete meal…..Enjoy!

Instructions

  1. First and foremost, add olive oil to a pot, sauté the garlic and onion until transparent.
  2. Then, you add the plum tomatoes, chop them with a spatula or wooden spoon.
  3. Next, add basil, oregano, salt, pepper, and flaxseed meal.
  4. Then, simmer or soft boil for 15 minutes until tomatoes are tender, turn off and cool slightly.
  5. Next, pour tomato mixture into a blender or food processor.
  6. Pour tomato mix back into a pot.
  7. Lastly, add cream cheese, milk, grated cheese, and simmer for 40 minutes. Enjoy!!!
