- 15 Ounces Canned Pumpkin Pumpkin is high in potassium, vitamin C , and fiber, which have been linked to heart benefits. Its also is high in antioxidants, which may protect “bad” LDL cholesterol from oxidizing.
- 2.5 Cups Whole Wheat or White Flour
- 3/4 Cup Sugar in the Raw
- 1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1.5 Teaspoons Ground All Spice
- 1.5 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon Cinnamon is one of the most delicious and healthiest spices on the planet. It can lower blood sugar levels, reduce heart disease risk factors .
- 3/4 Cup olive oil *Use regular Olive oil NOT Extra Virgin. Olive oil helps decrease the total cholesterol and "bad" LDL cholesterol levels
- 1/2 Cup Raw Oats oats and oatmeal have many health benefits. These include weight loss, lower blood sugar levels and a reduced risk of heart disease.
- 1 Tablespoon Flaxseed Meal Flax's primary healthy benefit is due to the omega-3 essential fatty acids, "good" fats that have been shown to have heart-healthy effects.
- 2 Tablespoons Organic Vanilla
- 3/4 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips Dark chocolate contains plant chemicals called flavonoids which are known to lower blood pressure, increase antioxidant activity, improve cholesterol levels and improve coronary artery function.
- 2 eggs Contrary to an age old belief, eggs actually are a great heart healthy option because of the presence of omega-3 fatty acids, which help raise the good cholesterol, HDL and lower triglycerides, which are the bad cholesterol.
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 Cup Cool Whip

Instructions
- First, Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
- Next add all dry ingredients, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, flaxseed meal, ground allspice, ground cinnamon, and sea salt together and mix.
- Then, in another bowl, add olive oil and oats, let stand for 10 minutes.
- Next, add eggs, vanilla, sugar, and pumpkin into the oat and oil bowl. Blend with a mixer or whisk by hand.
- Lastly, pour dry ingredients into egg mixture and blend.
- Add chocolate chips.
- Then, spray 2, 9x5 bread pans with Pam butter spray and pour half way up the pan.
- Lastly, bake for 50-60 minutes, cool, and serve with your favorite topping....Enjoy!!!
